Haven’t you always wondered what the inner workings of a commercial greenhouse might be like, how things are grown and who the people are that grow it?

Silverstone Gardens was established in the year 2000 as a result of farming brothers John and Andy Schilling along with John’s son, Randy Schilling. To this day, we are still growing high quality plants for both wholesale distribution all over the United States and our own local retail sales located inside the greenhouse. Our talented in-house growers proudly nurture tiny seeds or cuttings from plants that result in established seasonal blooming annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetable plants, creative and easy to care for patio containers, ornamental grasses, garden mums and so much more. Rest assured, you know that our plants are taken care of until the day they arrive at your home. In addition, we are the region’s leading grower of Proven Winners.

We get it, planning your own garden, or trying to combine plants in a container, can be overwhelming for some people. No problem! We’re here to assist you and guide through your whole experience.

Our retail season is available to the public from mid-April to the end of June. Spring season hours are Monday – Saturday 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 3 pm. Fall mum season is early September to the end of October. Fall season hours are Monday – Saturday 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 3 pm.
